The Ever-Changing Affordable Care Act

They say timing is everything. Your association has just put the finishing touches on a comprehensive package of webinars, information, articles, resources and exclusive counseling options to help our members make sense of the Affordable  Care Act (ACA). 

 And now, viola! Another change – albeit a good one for businesses – a one-year extension of the act’s provision that large employers must offer health insurance to full-time employees or face a fine. The delay will enable companies who do not currently offer health insurance additional time to understand how full time employees are determined under ACA.

 AAIA’s new ACA information program for member companies will commence with a series of webinars beginning Sept. 18 on the very subject of the full-time employee determination. This valuable member benefit is a result of a partnership with CliftonLarsonAllen, a leading a national accounting and consulting firm.
